2023 Legislative Briefing & Reception

The Mental Health Association of Maryland’s Legislative Briefing and Reception is the only event of its kind—bringing together hundreds of behavioral health professionals, business and nonprofit leaders, concerned citizens, and policymakers to unify as a community during the state’s annual legislative session and learn about public policy issues that will impact Marylanders’ mental wellbeing. 

This year, we are thrilled to be back in person for the 2023 Legislative Briefing and Reception where we will: 

  • Hear from Governor Wes Moore and other members of the new administration 
  • Hear from members of the Maryland General Assembly about legislation that will impact Marylanders’ behavioral health 
  • Celebrate our 2023 behavioral health awardees 
  • Hear from an expert panel about the positive outcomes achieved by Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) in Maryland and across the country. The panel includes:
