Fostering Supportive Communities

PEERS: Seniors in Partnership is a Baltimore County-based program that works to support the needs of older adults in Baltimore County by: providing education and outreach to the Baltimore County community; training peer support specialists on aging and emotional wellness; and matching volunteers with older adults in need of peer support in the Baltimore County Area.

Education & Outreach

The PEERS program offers free education to Baltimore County-based sites on a variety of topics related to aging and emotional wellness.

Peer Support Training

Beginning in 2020, the PEERS program will pilot an 8-hour training course for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) or anyone who provides peer support.

Volunteer Support Program

The PEERS program supports Baltimore County older adults through our Volunteer Support Program, where volunteers are paired with older adults who are experiencing challenges with emotional wellness.
