Connections Project

In response to the current crisis, the Baltimore County PEERS Program has retooled their volunteer program to provide supportive phone or video visits to older Baltimore County residents who are struggling with anxiety, fear, hopelessness, loneliness and other challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Education & Outreach

The PEERS program offers free education to Baltimore County-based sites on a variety of topics related to aging and emotional wellness.

Peer Support Training

Beginning in 2020, the PEERS program will pilot Behavioral Health and Aging, an 8-hour training course for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) or anyone who provides peer support.

Volunteer Support Program

The PEERS program supports Baltimore County older adults through our Volunteer Support Program, where volunteers are paired with older adults who are experiencing challenges with emotional wellness.
