Explore and register for the latest Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses hosted by the Mental Health Association of Maryland. We offer both grant-funded (free) and tuition-based training options to help individuals and organizations strengthen mental health support skills.
Upcoming Opportunities
Public Courses: Most months, we offer a one-day Mental Health First Aid course open to all Maryland residents. Registration opens two months before each session, and participants earn a three-year certification upon completion. Grant-funded seats fill quickly!
Instructor Training: Interested in becoming an MHFA instructor? Check out Teaching MHFA to apply for grant-funded opportunities (applications accepted May 1–31 and Nov 1-30 and fill the available grant funded seats for the following 6 months) or explore currently available tuition-based options below.
