Behavioral health services are offered at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers and community based outpatient clinics. A mental health assessment and referral clinic (MHARC) is located at each medical center. In addition, a myriad of inpatient and outpatient services, including specialized services for women veterans, are available. Depending upon residency, Maryland veterans engage in services at one of several medical centers, including Martinsburg, WV, Washington D.C., and Baltimore, MD.
