Too Old, Says Who? Debunking Internal Biases | Mind Your Mind Mondays

Mind Your Mind Mondays is a fun and engaging weekly support group for older adults to connect, discover ways to keep their brains healthy, and explore valuable resources for mental wellness and aging with confidence! Sessions meet weekly over Zoom on Mondays from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM.

This supportive conversation explores the beliefs people often hold about aging and how those thoughts can quietly limit confidence, growth, and connection. Together, we’ll reflect on common assumptions about getting older, practice reframing them into more supportive and realistic perspectives, and discuss how trying new experiences can help keep the mind active, improve mood, and support overall well-being.

Participants will leave with:

  • Greater awareness of common internal beliefs about aging
  • Strategies for reframing negative or limiting thoughts
