Equal Treatment Maryland
With just four weeks left before the Maryland General Assembly adjourns on April 10, MHAMD and our coalition partners are working overtime to enact policies that will better ensure access to mental health and substance use care when and where needed. We are seeing a lot of progress, but we need your help to get some of our priority issues over the finish line.
Please visit our Action Center and make your voice heard on the following issues.

The Maryland Senate is poised to pass SB 101 tonight, but the House of Delegates has yet to act on it.
SB 362 will improve access to community-based mental health and substance use care by expanding Maryland’s network of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs).
Wraparound Services for Youth
Action Needed: Please contact members of the Senate Finance Committee and the House Health and Government Operations Committee and urge them to pass SB 255/HB 322! Click here to complete the Action Alert.
