Keep the Door Open Rally

We need your help. Our neighbors, our families, our children, our friends – they all deserve access to high quality behavioral health services. That cannot happen if Maryland continues to cut the budget for these critical services and close the door on Marylanders who need help.

Years of damaging budgets have made it increasingly difficult for behavioral health service providers to meet the growing needs of Marylanders who need access to healing. Marylanders affected by mental health and substance use disorders must have high quality and accessible services to meet their needs.

Tell state legislators not to shut the door on Marylanders who use mental health and substance use disorder services. Tell them no more cuts to the behavioral health budget. Look up your elected officials here.

If we make the right choices now, all Marylanders will have access to the behavioral health services they need to have a safe and fulfilling life.

Help us spread the word on social media! Use the hashtag #keepthedooropenMD on Twitter and follow us at @keepdooropenMD, Facebook and other platforms to tell followers and friends that behavioral health services are important to you! Please visit the Keep the Door Open website for more information.

STAND UP for the 1 in 5 Marylanders living with a mental health or substance use disorder. March with us, and make your voice heard!
